For 4 years, U Street Music Hall has blessed DC with cheap shows from world class DJs. And every year, to celebrate their birthday, they bring the best and brightest DJs from all parts of the dance music spectrum to grace the venue’s legendary sound system. Come celebrate the 4th birthday of the dance hall thats become a DC institution: where the concerts are cheap, there’s absolutely no dress code, and you’re guaranteed to have a great time.

Sunday March 16th: Special Guests (TBA)

No word on who’s playing ‰ÛÒ U Hall will announce the day before. But you know it’s gotta be good! Imagine, it’s like a birthday present FOR YOU! Tickets are $15.

Wednesday March 19th: Moombahton Massive XXXV Nadastrom, Sabo, Branko

The world-famous Moombahton Massive touches down for its 35th incarnation, this time featuring Branko, bringing a little bit of a zouk bass flavor. Tickets are $8-$12.

Thursday March 20th: Cashmere Cat w/ Trippy Turtle

One of the most hotly anticipated shows to come to DC in some time, Cashmere Cat is finally playing in DC. This show is gonna be big… if you’re looking for the cutting edge of “future bass,” you wanna be at U Hall on the 20th. Cashmere Cat layers 808 kicks with rich instrumentation and throwback R&B samples to make hip hop that takes you on a nostalgic adventure. Take a listen. Also check out opener Trippy Turtle‰’s club/R&B remix of August Alsina‰’s “Sucka.” Tickets are $15



Friday March 21st: Magda, DJ Tennis, Beautiful Swimmers

For fans of techno, you won’t wanna miss Magda’s appearance on Friday night. Saturday March 22nd: BLISS with Dusky

The latest installment of DC’s long-running house party led by Will Eastman brings British duo Dusky , whose single “Careless” shot to the top spot on the Beatport Top 100 in October. These two will be sure to rock the house. Definitely plan on coming if you’re looking for some soulful deep house. Tickets are $12, and free before 11 PM for 21 .

Sunday March 23rd: Steez Promo pres. BASS NATION DC

This edition of Bass Nation brings the Hospital Records tour featuring Danny Byrd, Fred V. & Grafix, and S.P.Y. If you’re at all a fan of drum n’ bass, this is your spot. Some serious talent here ‰ÛÒ this one is not to be missed. Tickets are $20.

Monday March 24th: Classixx (Live)

This duo almost needs no introduction: since stepping on the scene in 2007, Classixx has shot to the forefront of indie dance and disco. Their release “Hanging Gardens” and their numerous pop remixes are a testament to their production skills, and their musical chops will be on full display during their live performance at U Hall on the 24th. If you’re a fan of disco or pop, you certainly won’t want to miss this concert. Tickets are $20.
