I am always astounded at what happens within a year and all the changes that take place. Everything serves as a purpose and not everything and stay or remain. Love seems to be the only constant in life yet sometimes we also must let that go too. Love can serve as a lesson and by letting it be our guides in life we can become more and more transcendent. Love can help us learn to share our light with strangers. Find others to help you find your sole purpose in life. This song conveys that message that love can be incredibly radiant but can also have moments of darkness. When we are young and in love, mistakes will be made in the relationships we forge. Some love is a temporary happiness that will not last forever but that should not bother us because we had the opportunity to love and be loved by that person. The artist, Kodaline, acknowledges that their love will not last forever and that the brief moment of joy is ok. This is how most first love relationships go for individuals and it‰’s perfectly normal to experience because when we are young, we change who we are. We grow and sometimes the ones we love do not grow with us or they grow in a different way. Our perspectives and thoughts evolve as we do.

When these first loves end, there is a fear that they will not find happiness again. This song serves as a reminder that love cannot always be our constant in our lives, we need to be our own constant. Fear is what stops people from leaving, we have a choice and this idea of a choice gets blinded by being afraid. Allow yourself to feel love for, not only others, but yourself. What we want in our lives, the people we want to see enter our lives, is out there and does exist so try not to settle for anything less than what you know you deserve.

Listen to this song when you get too caught up in the responsibilities of life. Listen to this song so you can remember that being young and in love is meant to be risky and intoxicating (in a good way). The song is a bit sad, but the beat makes it a song that can be danced around to and preached at the top of your lungs.

Bye my lovelies, have a beautiful and bright hippie filled day!
