If you want to buy a shirt, WVAU will be selling them at our final Open Mic, which takes place Friday, April 30th in Batelle Atrium, 8-10 pm as always! The shirts are American Apparel brand, and we have sizes S, M, L, XL.

Listen Sunday nights for your weekly dose of tales and jams from the baddest bands in the land. Punk tunes from the 70s and 80s, along with a delightful story of general wreck and ruin. Lots of Minor Threat, Misfits, and Minutemen!

DJ Morgan Tepper daggered, lazered, moshed, wobbled and got sprayed with six bottles of hennessy via Skerrit Bwoy at the Major Lazer/Rusko/Sleigh Bells concert in Baltimore last Wednesday. Prior to the debauchery, she was able to catch up with Grammy-nominated DJ/Producer/Owner of Mad Decent, Diplo! Diplo uncovered details about the upcoming Major Lazer cartoon appearing on Adult Swim, the next Mad Decent Block Party, the newest acts to hit Mad Decent, the overwhelming success of Pon De Floor and taking the proverbial WMC crown from all the “dickhead house DJs”. The next day, WVAU regular Will Eastman stopped by the station with DJ/Producer/Co-Owner of Plant Music, Stretch Armstrong. Morgan and Stretch managed to have a ridiculous yet informative discussion prior to the Plant Music Smackdown that occurred at U Street Music Hall that night, regarding New York’s cabaret laws, monster truck shows, Paul Stanley, chainsaws, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, grade school bullies, nightclub ownership and more importantly, the future and upcoming projects of Plant Music.
